Week 7: New stamps design

After noticing that the previous stamps' design wasn't working well, as the pastel colour didn't feel appropriated and the fact of having the black and white hands with the objects seemed weird and had no real reason behind it, I redesigned the stamps, with the aim of making them much more simple, focusing on what is important on them, which are the objects that the homeless person are going to receive. As those objects had to be the focus of the stamps, I decided to bring them back to colour (the was no reason for the to be black and white) and decided to take the text out of the stamps (the stamps being something quite small, you can add very little text and just putting the name of the objects didn't really bring anything else). Just a white background and a small brown outline to link it with the website colour palette and make the whole thing work together.

Responding to my tutorials feedback on how it didn't felt appropriate for the stamps to appear digitally on my website, when stamps are a physical thing and that is really related to paper, I printed the stamps and then scanned them again to have that feeling of paper and that manual/physical side of them.
