Week 7: Improving stamps design

Some of my previous stamps weren't working as well as others, in the sense that some of them felt to "specific" or "particular" and not so general as I wanted them to be. What I mean by that I that some of the stamps had objects on them that mentioned a brand (Starbucks coffee cup, Organic shampoo, etc...) but also some of them felt to specific to my home (the burgundy teddy bear for example). The stamps were supposed to show the objects that were going to be given to the homeless persons, and having brands on them or having some of them being too specific wasn't appropriate, as the donors could feel confused (are the brands promoting the campaign, do they get a profit form it?).


I the decided to change some of the stamps and the objects appearing on them, but also decided to add/apply a halftone effect to the stamps, that made them feel a bit more blurry, but juts the necessary to see a kind of outline of the objects shown in them (we recognized what was shown in the stamps) but not to get to see the details of each object, making them feel a bit more like pictograms, something more universal.
