After having investigated the issue go homelessness, I came to the conclusion that homelessness is often seen by society and people as something negative, pretty often related to drugs, alcohol, prostitution, the whole thing having lots of negative connotations. To me, it is a bit a s if people had an image of homelessness that does not match with reality, they have a distorted image of homelessness. Having noticed that, I find interesting to look at optical illusions, and how those make you see something that "doesn't exist"in real life, or make you see different versions of one same thing.

Bridget Riley

I remember that in December we went to an exhibition at the Southbank Centre, that showcased Bridget Riley's work. She is an artist interested in optical illusions and producing work that makes the viewer's eyes "think".

I want to have a go and try to make my own visual illusions, test how do those work, how I could introduce them into the homeless issue in a way that makes sense.
